Testing a Shower Head for LeaksYou don't want to over tighten it. You want to give it a water test, see if any water is going to be leaking out of the side. Once you put it on, you want to basically look right here to see if any water is coming out of here. As of right now it's dried. You want to give it a test, you want to see how it comes out. Now that we have the shower curtain up, we can go ahead and test it and make sure there's water leaking from behind.
