Washing African American Hair
Hi! This is Elizabeth Muller at Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and on behalf of expertvillage.com we would like to welcome you. We are going to go ahead and proceed to talk about hair that has been relaxed, African-American hair, hair that is textured and Nicky has hair that is textured and she has a relaxed in her hair and we are going to talk about different styles. First, we are going to proceed to shampoo the hair and when I shampoo the hair that has been previously relaxed or that needs moisture that is textured, I use a creamy hydrating shampoo on the hair and this gives moisture to the hair and adds a lot of softness in the hair, keeps the hair nice and soft. We are going to go ahead and proceed to massage that in her hair and scrub her hair, making it nice and soft and go ahead and scrub that in there and after this I am going to apply conditioner that can add moisture still to that hair because the hair is going to need a lot of moisture when it is relaxed or it is textured and needs plenty of moisture so I am going to use a conditioner that is really thick and that has a lot of conditioning agents in there to keep that hair nice for me and to keep this customer treated. You also want to have to use a lot of treatments on relaxed hair or hair that has been chemically treated.
