How to Set Up a Keyboard on Stage
DENIS DOWNING: On behalf of Expert Village, this is Denis Downing at Roxy Studios, New York City and today, I'm going to show you how to set up some band equipment. Okay, we're going to set up the keyboard now. These right here are basically the braces for the keyboard if we were going to use two. We have two more higher up in this particular instance. We're just hooking up one keyboard. Here we have a keyboard, set that up. We have the power. We'll plug the power supply in. Okay. This right here is our damper switch, okay? If I get it untangled we could plug that in. There we go. And now, we just take it, take our lead and we plug it into the snake. The snake, which runs back to the board is numbered so that when we get back to the board, we'll know that the keyboard is plugged into number seven and were running from there.
