How to Clean Boat Windows

Hi. I'm Albert Hedgepeth with Expert Village. We are going to talk a little bit today about how to maintain your camper top or bimini top. These clear window panes especially during the winter can become really brittle so it's important that you keep them moisturized and cleaned. Cleaning is going to help you a lot, especially while you are driving the boat because you'll be able to see where you're going and what's around you. Pledge revitalizing oil is a trade secret. This is something that was passed down from my father. It's one of the easiest ways to revitalize and polish these plastic windows. What you are going to do is just spray a little bit of the oil onto the window; you then take a dry rag spread the oil around on the window evenly and wipe it off until it's dry. What that's going to do is it's going to fill in all the little cracks and scratches and stuff where debris has scratched the actual window. This is something that you should probably do two to three times a year or whenever you notice debris on the window. It'll really help you with visibility and it'll make your boat driving safer. It's also going to provide you with a much better resale value and provide you with a little bit more longevity for the top.
