Making a Cute Messy Hairstyle

My name is Lauren and on behalf of Expert Village. I'm here to talk to you about styles on the go. A lot of women like that messy look. A good way to achieve that is they look at pictures and they think that just by getting the hair cut with the layers and the angles they are going to actually get the messy look when they do their own hair. Unfortunately, that is not always the case, you can texturize the hair but it's not always going to have the effect of looking very texturized, unless you use products to enhance it. I recommend using something that is micro fiber or fiber based. There's a lot of different manufactures who make it now, it's a little stickier you can actually see that there's actual fibers in the actual palming itself. You are going to start from the end; you're going to tilt your head to the side so that way your hair falls a little bit more. I start from the underneath, and start kind of combing it down. You can see how already these little pieces are more pieced out. You can grab little section by little section just on the ends. you don't really need the separation up here it kind of takes away from the hair. You just want to create that messy look. Scrunching it, even if you hair is curly will still also help achieve that messy look. Another thing that they have out on the market today is like a tasseled wave spray. What it is, it has sea minerals in it actually the sea salts and minerals will dehydrate your hair. It will be like going to the beach for the day and getting that messy very defined look. If you get a spray that does contain those sea salt it actually acts as a dehydrant and dehydrates your hair from its moisture and creates that, it almost makes it shrink like a shrink wrap. So that way it will create that tasseled, messy look. After you get your ends separated you simply gonna run your fingers through your hair and create that little bit you can use a little lift, you can let it go and you're going to get that nice messier, piecier and defined look throughout your hair.
