MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike with Expert Village, and now we're going to discuss starting your basic game of Heroscape. Now, once you've gotten your land set up and your characters placed, and their character scenarios as we got it from the scenario book that came with your set, we're going to get five attack die, remember these are the dice with the red skull and red blanks spaces on them, they're red. The defend dice are blue, so you should be able to single them out, and what's going to happen is you and your opponent are each going to roll one, two, three, four, five red die, and whoever gets the most skulls wins. Now, whoever wins this toss up, or this roll will get to go first initially. So, you will take your five and roll them, now I got two and your opponent will take his five and roll them and he got two, which means you would have to roll again. So, you take and roll your die again and I got one, and your opponent would roll this die and he got two, which means he gets to go choose first, and go first to begin the game.
