Learn About Squads of Basic Heroscape

MIKE LOPEZ: Hi. I'm Mike with Expert Village, and now the next type of unit I'm going to discuss is what is called a squad unit. As you will notice, on this card that there are Marro Drones; notice it's plural, notice the visual representation is one, two, three individual character pieces that corresponds to actual character pieces and actually visually look like the character pieces that ever made. So, once again, these units by themselves are not as powerful as hero units; however, the combined effort of a group can overpower a hero unit. Now, what does this means is during a turn and/or turn phase that each one of these units will get to move, and they do not all have to move in the same direction. So, once again, as with groups, you might want to keep them together; otherwise, they might find themselves singled out and destroyed. So, once again, they get to move individually or you can move them in a group direction, and they also each get an attack during the turn or attack phase.
