Types of Oil Filters to Use in Your Car

Hi, I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we're going to teach you how to change the oil in a standard internal combustion automobile engine. The next thing you're going to need is an oil filter. This is they type I like, there are many manufacturers but I like to get a high quality oil filter. This is a spin off type oil filter. This catches the dirt and you need to change this when you're changing your oil. You'll note it has a flat o-ring which seals it against the crank case. Do not damage this, keep this clean and just be aware. These are the threads inside of the oil filter which will screw onto the crank case housing. This is a prestandard oil filter.
