Spreading Batter for Pineapple Gingerbread Cake

Hi, this is David for Expert Village and today we are going to be making a gingerbread pineapple upside down cake. Now we have our batter mixed as you can see. We have our pan with the butter and the brown sugar and the nice pineapple slices right here. Now we are going to go ahead and pour this batter over the top of those. Make sure that you get it all in there and we can move it around and smooth it right on top of those pineapple slices. Like that. We would get some more out of there but what you want to do is go ahead and smooth that right around and this is going to rise and just be beautiful.
