Here we'll like to show you is another variation of playing A in the first position, A Blues and what we're going to add this time is the E chord. Except we're going to play E5 but in the first position. What I'm basically going to do, here is play A, D and then E. This time around, it's going to be here on the second fret on the D string which is E, and on the G on the fourth fret which is B. Basically, like doing this (demo) but playing it there, just the next octave up. So, what I'm going to show you here is a basic Blues rhythm (demo), and then bring my pinkie to the sixth fret (demo), end back on A. So, what I'm doing is (demo). Up to speed it's (demo). That's adding E in your A Blues progression in the first position.
