How to Apply Salon Style Dry Hair Treatments at Home

Hi! I am Liz Muller from Lizzie’s Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida and now we are going to continue to talk about treatments for hair and scalp actually that is dry and has some dandruff. There are different forms of dandruff actually and if it is really thick and flaky and you feel that your scalp is pink and it is thick flakes, then I would recommend to see a dermatologist for further treatment, but if it is just a little bit of dryness and you have a little bit of flakes, you only use a dandruff shampoo and actually dandruff shampoos are actually thick. You know they have a thick consistency to them, very thick and they have actually creamy consistency to them, and you want to go ahead and place it on the head and scrub them real well for the client using your fingertips, taking away those flakes and do not use any medicine that is a little harsh on the hair. There are dandruff shampoos out there that are a bit harsh, I would use something that’s more cosmetologist recommended. So you want to go up there… go in there and massage those flakes out of that hair and usually tingles to a good dandruff shampoos have a tingly sensation. They have like a little tingly sensation to them.
