Crocheting a Beanie with Various Stitches: Part 2

Hi, my name is Elissa with Expert Village and today I'm going to show how to crochet a beanie. So as you can see each stitch is going to have a different weave to it. This single crochet is going to be much closer together. It is going to be more denser and that is really good to have on the ground of your beanie so it keeps your head warm. As I transition down the double crochet is going to be in between the triple and the single. It is not quite as dense it has a little bit of a looser weave to it. It transition nicely between the single and the triple. As I come down to the triple crochet, this one is going to be a much loose weave. It is going to make a pretty comfortable beanie. But remember to make it smaller than you think it needs to be because especially the triple crochet is going to stretch a little bit. Because the weave is so much wider. So those are kind of how each stitch reacts to being sewn into the spiral beanie.
