Drum Beat Variation with Bass Drum on Beats 1 & 3

JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So the next couple of notes that we have in our bass drum variation here, we're going to put the bass drum on beats one and beat three. This--if you're kinda keeping up and thinking to yourself, you'll realize it's the basic beat that we started with--I want to go ahead and do it again, and this will kind of reiterate the concept and kind of put it in maybe in a different kind--of a different context for you to think about it. So I'm going to play it. This is at 80 bpm. Take a listen. Think about what's lining up and follow along. So there you go: beats one and three on the kick drum.
