Demonstration of a Drum Beat with Bass Drum on Beats 1 & 2

JOEL SIEGEL: All right. So we had--hopefully, you've figured out we had some things lining up there with one and two on the kick drum. We had beats one and two both lining up on the high hat, 'cause you had one and two and three and four and, and then you had beat two lining up with all three actually, with the one, two, three, four, all right? So let's go ahead and play it together. We'll take it at the same tempo, 80 beats per minute, and I'll count you off. One, two, ready, play. There you go: beats one and two on the kick drum.
