Snake Arms in Belly Dancing

Hello! This is Portia at bellymotions.com. We are going to introduce snake arms. These are very slow, smooth and sensual movements. We are going to start by learning wings tuck, lift, roll. You are going to lift your shoulders. You are going to lift your elbows. Your forearms are hanging like a pendulum. Push your hands out to the wall, spread your wings up and drop it down. So imagine your arms are part of the wings. Lift, lift, outspread your wings and close them down. Let us try it again. And lift it up, up re-stretch your arms and release, now only on the right. Try it with me, shoulder, elbow, wrist and bring it down on the left, shoulder, elbow, wrist and float down, energy in those hands, lift shoulder, elbow, wrist, one more time and shoulder, elbow, wrist put it together and one and two.
