Hi! I'm Mandy Butler on behalf of Expert Village and I'm going to talk to you today about cheerleading motions. Now I'm going to show you the candlestick position. What I'm going to do is take my arms from a low touchdown position and rotate my shoulders upwards stopping in the middle. I'm going to bring my arms up. My big doughnut holes are now facing the ceiling. I've got my arms nice and straight as if I'm holding 2 candlesticks. That's why it's called a candlestick position. If I bring this up, now I have a high touchdown or a touchdown. Bring it down into a candlestick. Keep going and it's a low touchdown. Now, I've got my arms back up in the middle in front of my body. That is a candlestick position. If I were to rotate my wrist downward, that would be buckets. As it stands, I've got them right here as if I'm holding 2 candlesticks. That's a candlestick position. I may do a right candlestick or a left candlestick. When I've got them both out, that's a candlestick.
