Cooking Meat for Making Stuffed Jalapeños

Hi this is Rich Buccola of New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make stuffed jalapenos. We're going to add some simple spice, salt and pepper for taste and the cumin and then get it in our frying pan and start frying this up. I'm going to use some fresh pepper, give it a nice amount of fresh pepper is always good. We're going to give it a little punch of salt, about a teaspoon. And cumin, very strong, very strong of the spices. I'm going to eyeball it, about a teaspoon, half a teaspoon to a teaspoon. We're going to mix that up and bring it over to our frying pan and start to fry this up. We're going to turn our flame medium heat. You don't have to worry about coating this with olive oil, you got a lot of fat from the meat and we're going to get that hot and brown this meat. We're going to add our meat and we're going to start to get that nice and brown. I'm going to actually start to brown this a little bit. So I don't have to babysit it, I'll put it in a very low flame, and while that's actually still browning for me, what I'll do is go over and start chopping up my cilantro.
