Hi, I'm Bryan Billhimer, and on behalf of Expert Village today I'm going to show you how to restring and tune a guitar. So now you want to do that same thing with the rest of the strings. So we got our E string and A string in tune. Now we're going to tune our D string. So you find D on the A string, that's the fifth fret. You're going to tune that. Okay, same thing for the G string. We're just going to go down to the fifth fret on the D string, that's G. Once again you want to listen for those sound waves beating against each other. There we go. Now this one's the only one different. For the B string, you got to go back to the fourth fret. Fourth fret, G string is a B note. So that's what we use to tune our B string. There we go. And the last one, fifth fret B string is an E. That's what we use to tune our high E string. Now you might have to go back and do this process a couple of times, because it's going to slide in and out a little bit. It's the brand new strings. So next step I'm going to show you how to use and electronic tuner.
