Hi I'm Bryan Billhimer on behalf of Expert Village, today I'm going to show you how to re-string and tune a guitar. Now that we have all of the strings on, we are going to trim the ends off here. As you can see it's far from in tune, but before we tune it, we want to trim these ends off you can see their long, there kind of dangerous maybe. Before you trim them you want to make sure, double check make sure you got the right strings in the right spots. Once again it's slow E string, A string, D string, G string, B string and high E string. If you don't know the names of the strings, it's thickest to thinnest. Now we've made sure we've got those, we're going to go ahead and trim these off. We will take our wire cutters and I like to get them in there as close as I can, and just snip them off. Just make sure you're not going to clip the string on the other side. After we trim them, you still have some points here that are sharp so we're going to take our tool, or take a pair of needle noise pliers we're going to bend this string down, back in toward the neck. See how I bent that down there? That way you're not going to poke your fingers or anything or tear your case if you are putting it in your case. Once we do that, then I'll take you to the next step.
