BBQ Pit Fire Safety

Hi! I'm Mark Sullivan for Expert Village and today we are going to show you how to build a fire in your backyard barbecue pit. The first thing you want to consider when building your backyard barbecue pit fire is safety. Always safety first. Make sure that you have no areas that can catch fire, that there is no gasoline nearby, no cars nearby so you are not going to be catching anything on fire. Make sure you have some type of pit or barbecue grill which can contain fire. Make sure that you have a garden hose nearby. So any way, make sure that the wind is not too high. If it is a really high wind, you don't want to be having a fire and also many places you do need to check with the local fire department and even get a permit in different places to build an outdoor kind of fire.
