How to Rotate Your Tires

Hi I'm Jake from Burt Brother Tire and on behalf of expertvillage.com, we're going to show you the proper way to rotate your tires. First of all you want to consult with your owner's manual to check the correct way to rotate your tires. If your car is all wheel drive, there might be a different way. Sometimes cars have staggered fitments, smaller tires on the front, larger tires in the back, they cannot be rotated. Okay, so first of all consult with your owner's manual and then we can look at the car here. I've got my guys here, they were just going to take the tires, move them from the front to the back on this vehicle here. The importance of rotating your tires will help you get extended mileage out of your tires, help them wear evenly, keep your smooth ride, and just keep your tires wear and evenly, it'll get you taken care of. The different patterns for rotating tires, if it was just a rural car just like this, it would just be front to back like we demonstrated. If you had a 4 wheel drive or an all wheel drive, a lot of times there's an X pattern. You take the left front tire move it to the right rear, the right front tire move it to the left rear and swoop those like that in an X pattern to get an excellent wear.
