TINA STULL: Hi. I'm Tina Stull, and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to talk about the basics of racing. If you get a part that breaks you can go down to like, at an NHRA event, Nitro Alley and you'll have lots of manufacturers of almost every kind of part you can imagine and they carry quite a bit of it right there at the track so you're in luck. If you're at a divisional race, sometimes you need to look--you might want to look around and see like, if you need a certain part, look and see if there's a racer there that is sponsored by them because a lot of times those racers also double as parts people. And so, you can get--find a lot of parts that way. We've gotten to a point were we had a strange part that wasn't very common. We went up to the--we went to the tower and said, "Hey, we need a cylinder, single solenoid." And sure enough, we ended up with three of them in our pit within about 45 minutes. It's good to be prepared especially on those small parts that break frequently. But in the event that something catastrophic happens, never give up. Just start asking around and most people at least are there in the right place.
