How to Manage Your Car Racing Budget
TINA STULL: Hi. I'm Tina Stull, and I drive the Top Dragster for Interstate Batteries. On behalf of Expert Village, today we're going to talk about the basics of racing. So, you're ready to race; you have your car, you have your trailer, you have your tools and now it's time to go actually to the track. There are some other things that you need to consider when you're figuring out what the sport is going to cost you. Don't forget that you need insurance although you get some insurance when you pay your entry fees to some of the bigger events. You also have to ensure--just for contents and stuff. You have your fuel cost to and from, wherever you're storing your car to the track, consider your entry fees. Also you need to set a side a parts budget because things will break and you don't want to be stuck on the road and not have the money to get a small part and end up by losing a race over that.
