Playing the Tablature for Beginning Guitar

BRYAN BILLHIMER: Hi. I'm Bryan Billhimer and on behalf of Expert Village, welcome to guitar playing 101, the basics. Okay. Now, I'm going to show you what this looks like when you play it on guitar. So, we start here with our tablature, third fret, low E string. So, I'm going to play that on the third fret, it said just to play it one time, then it said to go to the fifth fret. Then it said to move down to the A string second fret, third fret, fifth fret and second fret D string, then fourth fret and fifth fret. It's as simple as that. The next thing we're going to talk about is the basic building blocks of music and the major scale.
