B String Tuning for Beginning Guitar

BRYAN BILLHIMER: Hi. I'm Bryan Billhimer and on behalf of Expert Village, welcome to Guitar Playing 101, The Basics. Now we're going to tune the B string to the G string. This is the only one that's different: the B is going to be on the 4th fret. Okay, so now we're going to tune the last string, which is the high E string, and again we're back on the 5th fret. Again, back on the 5th fret. Okay, no more beats. So now that we've learned to tune by ear, next I'm going to show you how to tune with electric guitar tuner.
