Dog Bed Materials & Tools

Hi, I'm Vicki Eftenwile, and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make a homemade dog bed for a medium sized dog. In this clip, I'm going to show you the tools and materials you're gonna need to make your dog bed. You want to have your bottom, I chose this material cause it's nice and solid. It should be fine on the bottom. This is the bedding I chose, it was on sale, but you can choose any kind of bedding you want. You can choose regular fill, instead of this, which you would have to measure and cut. And then I chose this for the top material, since it matches my dog's hair. I got about forty dollars invested in all this material. And you can get it at any fabric store. I like to get it on sale, it's a lot cheaper. You're gonna need some really sharp scissors, tape measure, some pins for tacking your parts together, and a really good sowing machine. Any one can use one of these. It's kind of a beginner's sowing machine.
