Understanding the Percentage of Bail for Bounty Hunter

Hi, my name is David Fletcher, commander of United States Fugitive Apprehension. We are here today with Expert Village. If a person is set for a $100,000 bond, 10% of that bond if he posted to a bail bonding company is $10,000. Then there is an additional $25 filing fee and a $12 state tax, who knows where the $12 go. However, that brings the price to $10,037 for one individual to be released from jail. If the $10,037 is paid and the person forfeited his court date, a warrant is issued and then they are issued to my company. I then examine a warrant due to investigation then issue them to a group, my bounty hunters that are employed through me. These individuals try and make every attempt necessary to find and apprehend these individuals. I pay off of those are $10,000 plus expenses in most cases if we have to travel to make that $10,000. The bail bonding company then saves $100,000 if we are successful and bring that person in, in a time allowed by the courts.
