Hi, my name is David Fletcher, commander of United States Fugitive Apprehension. We are here today with Expert Village. We are paid by two ways; one way is if the person has an actual reward posted on his head. From rather it would be news or the newspaper, sometimes individuals are profiled on the TV, there is a reward offered. We try to collect that reward and in other cases the bail bonding company is responsible for the fee which is 10% most common cases. If I travel outside of the state, that fee is not negotiable it doubles. The bail bond companies are more prominent to pay you and waiting on compensation from the state. Just to be honest with you I'm sure it's the same ways in every state. Usually the state fee is not worth going out after. You make more money going out for the bail bonding company, the bail bonding companies are usually are governed and run by pretty decent individuals who don't mind paying you the 10% to keep from paying the full amount of the bond. If the bond is forfeited, they stand the chance to pay 100% to the courts. Paying 100% to the courts could be costly.
