Having a Homebrew Kit for an Absinthe Recipe

Hi. My name is Allen for Expert Village. And today I'm going to discuss a controversial and banned alcohol commonly known as absinthe. The kit that I have is the deluxe kit and it comes with pretty much all this stuff that you see right here. It comes with your nice little glass here that says Green Devil absinthe right on it. And that's really a nice glass actually and they send you an imprinted bottle which you can keep your absinthe in. Nice little lid, nice imprint right on it. Very nice. And your small instruction manual with some basic history information to it. You can see it right there, Green Devil and it has your instructions. It says how to drink it, different methods for drinking it which we'll discuss later. And then you go ahead and further in the box we have the filter which I showed you in another segment. Then you also have all your different, your herbs. Your herbs are pretty much already in muslin bags. And they also send you your green devil spoon, which is where you put the sugar right over the water and I'll show you later on how that works. But it's all very, very nice kit and everything is right there. Now when I show you the brewing process, we'll go through it a little bit more. But everything is pre measured and pre weighted and it smells actually delicious. And this one very, very minty flavor. This one a little bit more bitter flavor. This one contains the wormwood among other ingredients and then you also have your brown sugar cubes to give it that sweet flavor when we pour it later. Now for the most part, this works like a giant tea bag and you'll follow directions and just put it at the base of whatever you're going to brew it in. Either glass or plastic container that's big enough to hold the liquid that you got to put in it. You're going to let it brew, you're going to follow directions. And I'm going to show you those steps in a few. That's pretty much it. It's really, really self explanatory for the most part. You really can't screw it up. And if you do, I don't know what's wrong with you. But it's all set to go and it's all right there in the kit. Like I said the deluxe kit is a little bit nicer so I recommend doing that. I've looked at some of the other kits that are out there on the web and this one is really the most highly recommended kit. I've had this before in the past with a friend and I figure why not go for it again. And I really, really think that this is the best way to do it. They really promote that. It says right on here. It says, "This kit is only the finest organically grown herbs that are cultivated without chemicals and certified organic." Which is really, really a plus. Because sometimes you get stuff you don't know what you're drinking. And that could be very bad, not only for drinking for taste, but also for your health. So you want to be conscious about that. It's a very, very nice retail kit and again Greendevil.com. I would go check it out. Really really cool.
