How to Export PulpMotion Composition to Movie

Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. When you're happy with your composition, you can then export that to a movie. If you right click your composition, you can come down and select export composition, or you can also come up to file and select export. It's going to bring up a dialogue that looks like this. At the top is the different formats that you can export to. There's a lot of different settings here. You can export to an iPod, an iPhone, an Apple TV, or some of the different programs that are built into a Mac, such as Garage Band or iMovie. You can even export to a screen saver over here at the right. Each of these settings has their own different things that you can adjust. I'm going to select Quick Time and concentrate on that because in most cases, you're just going to want to export to a Quick Time movie. Beside destination media, if you click there, you can export to different sizes for the web, or if you select DV-NTSC, that's going to export to a full 29.97 frames per second and 720 by 480. Down here under export duration, you can change how long your composition is. If you select export selected count of loops, you can change how many times it loops. I'm just going to leave it at export at desired length. You can change your anti aliasing. In most cases, you're going to want to select best. You can add motion blur if you want. I'm going to leave it as it is now and select export and give it a name. I'm going to name it my movie and select where. I'm going to leave it at the desktop. When you select save it's going to export it to your desktop. That's how you export your move in PulpMotion.
