How to Clean a Halloween Costume

This is expertvillage.com. I am Kristie Peters from Harlequin Costume and today we are talking about the tips and techniques for selection and care of Halloween costumes. Very important, when you are done with your costume always launder it, read the instructions, do not wait till later, we have all had instances where we did not realize we spilled something on a blouse and we did not treat it right away so it stained. So if you do not have it laundered right away and next year you got to pull it out, you will not be able to use it so first and foremost clean it, secondly put it all together on one hanger. We all remember buying something and putting it somewhere safe and we cannot find it. We happen to put everything in a bag on the costume so that when we pull that costume out, we know that we have got everything there.
