Hi, my name is Sheryl McGlachlin, with crazysheryl.com. Welcome to expertvillage.com. We have now added the dry ingredients, and we're going to add the wet ingredients, and put them all together. I am using four sticks of butter, which is one pound of butter. I'm putting it into my Bosch mixer. That's a half a cup; this makes a whole cup, and now we're up to one and a half cups. So, a total of two cups of butter, or one pound of butter. One thing I like to do is clean up as I go along. It will help make my kitchen a lot cleaner, and it helps with getting everything done fast and easy. We're going to add a fourth of a cup of water. I'm not going to add that yet. Let me do the sugar really fast. I'm adding three and a half cups of sugar. I'm not real fond of Splenda, or anything else; I like regular sugar, or you could use honey if you like. I'm using about a third to a fourth cup of water; one cupful or teaspoon of vanilla; that's just your vanilla extract; four eggs; throw those in, and if you think you might get any of the eggshells in; you can always put it in a bowl ahead of time, and then; drop it all in. Now; with this, I'm just going to go ahead and turn on my mixer, and we'll let that mix for just a minute.
