Hi! My name is Sheryl McGlochlin with crazysheryl.com. Welcome to expertvillage.com. We are making a really good healthy cookie. I call it freshly ground whole-wheat oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. I want to tell you what it is in this cookie. First of all, I include lots of whole grains. Today, we're going to include a 7 grain rolled mix that you can get in bulk stores where they sell whole grains in bulk. Besides the 7 grain whole mix, we're also going to be using oats, and lots of them. I also use some sugar, some white sugar, and I use molasses. We have baking soda and vanilla. I use butter and margarine. It's much healthier for you. We're using whole wheat. We're going to grind our whole-wheat into freshly ground whole wheat. I keep in a bag and store it in the freezer. We'll talk about that a little bit later. I use sea salt. I buy my sea salt in bulk and use that. We'll be using some water. We have chocolate chips. These are the semi-sweet chocolate chips that we use. When you're using a whole wheat, we use something else, and that is called dough enhancer. It is a special product that enhances and helps the cookie be more flavorful and keeps is shape, and has a little bit longer taste. Those are the ingredients that we're going to use in this cookie along with eggs.
