Learn Proper Stance on Skis

I'm Ivan Madar. I'm a professional ski instructor and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. The important thing about skiing which a lot of times is forgotten and especially in people who learn how to ski by themselves and don't go to the process of the ski school is the safety. Now, you are skiing in an environment that could be very hazardous. Skiing could be a hazardous sport if it's not done properly. The skiing industry has developed a code for safety skiing. It's called "Skiers code of Responsibility." It is very important that you pay attention to this code. It is written in every ski area where you ski. It is usually written on every ticket you get from the ski area. It has to do with the conduct on skis and obviously controlling your ability. Things like: look up the hill before you start going downhill to make sure nobody runs into you or you don't run into somebody else, controlling your speed and so on. Please read the Skiers Code of Responsibility and you'll feel a lot safer on the hill.
