Now the Triple Fisherman's Knot is a nice knot. It's basically a double grinner's knot. And what you do here is you tie a triple over hand knot into it. Now this is used more for smaller, springier line or lines that are really slippery. This application is really good if you really just need to tie these two lines together. So what I've got here on my table here is I've got my two lines coming in at opposite directions once again. I'm going to pull them to get a little bit more length on them here. I'm going to go ahead with this one and wrap it around once, twice and a third time and I'm going to run it back through under here. And I've created a double over hand knot so I need to put one more knot in it like that. There's my triple I'm looking for. Let's put a little bit more space in it here. I'm going to run it through the last loop I have here. There we go. Nice triple knot there. I'm going to go ahead and do the same thing over here with my blue, run it over once, twice and a third time and run it through the back end, oops I've created a double over hand once again. Let's do this one more loop and run it through. As you can see you need to put a lot of slack in here to make sure you can get your line to get through these ropes. There we go. Pull it tight. Even this out a little bit so you can get the nice barrel shapes on both of them. As you pull these knots together they will come together and they will tighten up really nice.
