The Card Pointer Trick in Detail
I am Joe Marshall with expertvillage.com and today we are going to unravel the mysteries of telekinesis. Okay, this is the explanation for the telekinetic spoon card trick, you are going to want to take the elastic that I spoke about earlier and having it on a loop, you are going to want it around your hand, so that it is setup like this, it is actually right there, and you are good to go, you just need a spoon and a deck of cards, it can be any deck and they shuffle it up, they can shuffle it as much as they want, and when you get the deck back you just want to glance the bottom card, in this case it is the queen of hearts, you don’t want to like look at it, as you take the deck back you just want to kind of glance at it as you turn deck around, all you have to remember is the queen of hearts, so you have a queen of hearts in your mind, you have your elastic ready to go around your hand, you fan out the deck, they take a card, whatever card they take they show it around and then you tell them to place their card back on top of the deck, and give it a cut, and when they cut it they are actually putting the queen of hearts on top of it and if they cut it again for a good measure, that is even better, they just think it is more mixed up. so when you spread it out, you are just going to give it a fan, when you spread it out, all you are going to be doing is looking for the queen of hearts and once you find the queen of hearts you will know that the card on top of the queen of hearts is their card, which is the 3 diamond, so it is right there.
