I'm Ivan Madar. I'm a professional ski instructor and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. So now, let's get to the person who is a little bit more athletic, who is more coordinated, possibly a younger person (probably somebody who is in his teens or twenties), somebody who's probably has no problem to do any sport and progresses much quicker. With a person like that (first of all, if you are a person like that, you should not try to go to the top of the hill and start everything from scratch). You have to do the beginning procedures, the beginning steps from trying to learn how to glide on a ski slope from the beginning. Don't assume it is going to happen, because you still need to know how to stop. But, it will probably be a lot easier for you to stop with a hockey stop a lot faster than a person who is not conditioned. So, you start with a gliding run (just a straight run). And right away, start getting into a hockey stop as we showed before. Now, as you mastered the hockey stop, you can progress much faster into creating a more faster, wide track parallel. I'm going to show you some drills that will help you balance and help you to create better pressure control and better edge control.
