I'm Ivan Madar. I'm a professional ski instructor and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. Wedge turn, slightly turning the ankles. Now, we link the turns. As you notice, my upper body is very still. My head is still. I am looking ahead, I am not looking down at my skis. My hands are apart for good balance and I'm steering the skis in the direction I want to turn. The quiet upper body is extremely important, especially later on when we advance. So, now we are going to pick up the speed a little bit and see if you can get from this position into a more advanced stages of skiing. You can see now, after making a turn, we match the skis and we start skidding and sliding down a hill. That's okay at this point if you are comfortable doing it and if you are comfortable standing when you've finished your turn with the skis parallel.
