On behalf of Expert Village I'm Nicole. The first thing you need to do before purchasing your pet is to make sure you have a good spot to put it in the house. You need to take into consideration that some terrariums take quite a bit of space. It also requires plenty of outlet for plugging in the lighting and heating accessories. It also requires some where that is going to be relatively quiet not necessarily high traffic area because you want to make sure that your pets feel secure where they are living. Somewhere out of reach of children and out of reach of other pets that is very important as well for the safety of your pet. I got my pythons here right underneath the window because they require quiet a bit of sunlight. Now I kept them by the window I wanted to keep them down low enough to where they didn't sit directly in front of the window. So that is why I got them in this low table it's also a lot easier to access the screen top when it's sitting at a lower level. It's latched so the kids can't get into it and no animals can get in after my snakes. I got them by the window for the sunlight but it does provide quiet a draft these guys are on there winter, hibernation periods so they are allowed to have a draft right now. But when I want to make sure that they are warmed back up I 'm going to provide supplemental heating as well. Since they are underneath the window they need to make sure they don't get that cold air all year round. This one here my Iguana is also kept by the window because he requires lots of sunlight as well. Now I put him over here it's obviously it's the biggest terrarium I got so I had to put it against my wall here where I had the most space. But it's convenient that it provides me with another area to put another terrarium. This guy he gets some sunlight but not he doesn't always get direct sunlight he gets sunlight first thing in the morning then as the sun moves over head he gets less direct sunlight. So I also provided him with a supplemental basking area so he can warm up after he is eating his food which is where he hangs out most of the time.
