Basic Witchcraft Beliefs

On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Caroline, and I'm here to tell you about witchcraft. Personally, I believe in reincarnation, and most witches do. We believe that you go to a place called Summerland, or Avalon, or Isle of Apples. There's different names for it--the Elysian gardens. Kind of go there, relax, and then decide if you want to come back to this life--type of life, I should say. Or just stay there and be a teacher or spirit guide, or whatnot. Which leads me to also say that witches do believe in ghosts and spirits, hauntings. We do not believe in Satan. That is just something that the Catholic Church made up. Satan actually translates to "adversary", so it just really has no place in our world. Oh, let's see. As far as ghosts are concerned, I enjoy doing a little ghost-hunting now and then. I happen to clairsentient, which means I could feel them when they're around, and I have been lucky enough to catch them on film. I have not been able to get my clairaudience back, which I used to have when I was a kid, which would be very nice, because then I could kind of get the story from these folks, and if I could help them, I'd be happy to help them move on. Although some of them, I don't think want to move on. Some of them, I think, kind of like being where they are. But some are confused, and just don't know how to go on to the next step. But I'm kind of digressing here, because that could be a whole nother interview or story with somebody. So, I will get back to the fact that yes, I believe in reincarnation. I do believe in spirits, I do believe in omens and signs. I do believe in familiars, which would be an animal helper. Which, I don't know if in through the picture you've seen some of my little helpers coming in and out, and causing mayhem.
