Hiding Mistakes in the Floating Card Trick
I am Joe Marshall with expertvillage.com and today we are going to unravel the mysteries of telekinesis. One of the ?? (0005) you could use is for some reason your are too careless and you accidentally broke the thread, it is just to go into a different way to reveal their card instead of having the card raised out of the pack, what you are going to do is you are just going to continue the Hindu shuffle until they say stop and they stop you there, and then since it is broken and you can’t do the rising portion of the trick, you are just going to set the deck down, you are going to look them into the eye and you are going to turn it into a mind reading thing, where you are just going to try to read their mind and of course. So I think it is a high card, I think it is black card, no, actually I am getting a red card, and you just keep playing on that, and you say it is definitely a picture card and king of hearts, and they will say yeah, so that is your out, you just turn it out into a mind reading effect instead of telekinesis, it is mind reading. And that is why you don’t want to tell them what you are going to do beforehand so that you can alternate or change your ending if there is an accident.
