Hi, my name is Sheryl McGlochlin with crazysheryl.com and on behalf of Expert Village we want to talk about how to warm up before you snowshoe. It is really important to warm up like you would any exercise before going in and mostly that involves some stretching. So you can even put your poles down and just kind of spread your legs a little bit and just kind of bend over and play with the snow. Just get a good stretch. Just mostly trying to stretch our your legs a little. You can kind of lean to the right, stretching out your leg muscles a little bit. On any exercise including snowshoeing it is a really good idea to just stretch out. Because you can pull some leg muscles and you would have a much better time at snowshoeing if you really stretch out. You can do this in snowshoes or you can do it before you put your snowshoes on. Either way it is a great workout.
