Sautéing Shallots for Eggs Benedict Louisiane
Hi, this is Dave for Expert Village. Today we're going to make a California creole type of eggs Benedict. So now we're taking the shrimp out. They're nice and pink and ready to go and this skillet already has some oil in it with a lot of the shrimp flavors and this is where we're going to add the shallots. So over a medium heat you want to put your shallots in. Again it has all of your nice shrimp flavor in here; I'm going to turn up my heat just a little bit. These don't take very long either. This is going to be a really nice tasty garnish that is going to go along with your eggs Benedict. So just keep an eye on them. You don't want these to burn so move the around a little bit.
