Cooking Shrimp for Eggs Benedict Louisiane
Hi, this is Dave for Expert Village. Today we're going to make a California creole type of eggs Benedict. Now that we have our shrimp cut into the bite size pieces here, this is how you need to saute them. I like to start heating up my pan up just a little before I put oil in. We just want a little bit of canola oil in here. It doesn't take much cause shrimp really cooks quickly and as you heard, they have a sort of built in thermometer as soon as they turn pink. You pretty much know that they are done because they cook a little bit longer. Once you take them out of the pan so go ahead and add them in. These are really going to be delicious and you don't even have to season these if you like to add a little salt you can but we already added salt to the other items. So you can always add later if you need to you can see they already starting to turn a little pink and they just got into the pan.
