Now our ramen noodles has finished their three minutes of boiling so they are ready to eat. When you prepare ramen noodles following the recipe on the package, it always tells you to leave the water and add the seasoning packet. But we have already thrown that away and we're making a pasta dish with our own sauce rather than a noodle soup. So we're going to actually drain these noodles and then we're going to use the same skillet to heat our sauce because like I said we're trying to minimize clean up by using a few containers as possible. Now along the same line as thought, most people use a colander or a strainer to drain their noodles but I'm going to teach you how to do it using your trusty fork. Over here at the sink we're going to use our fork to hold the noodles into the pot while we pour the the water into the sink. If there is any water left over, you just give it time and it will drain out.
