Mixing Coconut Milk & Corn Starch for Basil Chicken Curry

Hi. This is Rich Buccola here in New York City and today on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make Basil Chicken with Curry Coconut Sauce. Alright, we're back. We got our chicken on the side. What we're going to do is add our coconut milk to a bowl and add our cornstarch together and mix it up before we add it to our deep dish pan or our wok. Okay, just add your coconut milk right to your bowl and and we're going to add about two table, two teaspoons, excuse me. Let's just get two teaspoons of our cornstarch. And that's, the reason we put it in here first is we don't want it to clump up. So we're going to mix it a little before we add this right to our flame. And we're going to carefully then mix this up a little bit and then add it to our flame. Alright, you want to make sure you mix that real good so you don't get any clumps. Alright, we're going to keep everything in the pan and just add this nice and slowly and get it nice and bubbling hot. Alright, so while this is getting hot, you want to get this nice and bubbly, I'm going to go over and just get our basil and our ginger root ready.
