How to Play C Chord on the Melodica

The notes on a melodica is like the notes on a keyboard. There are 7 keys in a scale C,D,E,F,G,A,B,C. So if C major chord is C,E, and G which we play with fingers 1,3, and 5 and it sounds like this. C,E,G. To get a minor chord we flat the 3rd which is our E so we would play C, E flat, G. Major, minor. Most melodicas have scales at least, this one has 2 1/2 and it has 32 keys. So you can play in the top octave or in a lower octave. I'm going to play the C major arpeggio in the bottom octave. The arpeggio is the 1,3,5 of the scale in the C major case it is C,E and G. Then you play your top note which is C.
