Salon Tips for Hair Highlights

Hi, I am Amelia and on behalf of expertvillage.com will be talking about highlighting at home. When to go to the salon? There are times when you just need to give it up and go and pay to have what you want done. If you want extremely chunky highlights that are very precise like the blond dark blond dark, that you need to pay for. If you want all over blond heavy, heavy highlighting, that you need to pay for or if you?re looking for a big level jump between as dark as this and going to as light as this, you are going to want to go to the salon for that. If you have extremely long hair and you are wanting your entire head highlighted you need to go to the salon for that. Pretty much anything that may involve extra chemicals or may involve extra time or extra detail you are going to want to go ahead and go to the salon for that. You may even if you got someone you trust and you got a stylist that is willing to work with you, you may even want to go and sit down and have a consultation and tell them what you want and maybe you guys can work something out as far as they can do the highlights and you can do the base color or they can do the base color and you can go home and just paint some highlights in. So there are ways to cut the cost, so go in and talk to your stylist and see what they may be willing to work out with you.
