Hi, I'm Amelia, and on behalf of expertvillage.com, we'll be talking about highlighting at home. One of the big mistakes people make when using the cap is they pull out too much hair. And when they apply their lightener, it gets into the cap and creates a dot. And so, when you take the cap off you have a nice little leopard spot. But what happens if you do this to yourself? Again, go to the store, get a deposit only color, and as close to your natural color as you can find, mix it up, apply it to those spots. And you may even want to pull it through just a little bit. Because if you just dab it on the spot, you might get a dark spot at the scalp because sometimes those spots can be really large. So you can even go in, take your product, and just go and just dab it where those spots are and kind of bring it down the highlight just a little bit. Make it look like it's growing out a bit. And just do that in a few spots, let it process, shampoo it out, and then that should get rid of your spots.
