How & What to Mix with Hunted Deer Meat

Once you have the deer meat you can do many different things with it. Some people like to process it on their own, if you know how to do that. There are processors who will process it for you. Typically people mix it with something, pork is very common. Some people, because a deer is a very lean meat, like to mix it with other lean meats; something like beef. With the hind quarters and front quarters you can make sausage and hamburger meat. The tenderloins and the back strap you want to cut it up and make it into steaks, you can chicken fry it and also make jerky out of it. Those are just some of the things you can do with deer meat once you have cleaned, skinned, quartered the deer and are ready to process it.
